The only negative I've found so far they don't breath at all, maybe that's common on these flotation suits. I get real clammy not matter how cold it is.
I am in my 3rd season with my AA, I like it, other than it does not breath, my dad has the new striker climate, very nice, more bulk and a wierd fit, XLjacket is huge, except tight in around the hips and my waist is a 34" very difficult to get the zipper started because of this. My dad bought an XL and had to get the 2XL, he's selling the XL
Mustang catalyst suit:Damn $350 on ebay for jacket!Do they have bibs as well...? I didn't see any. Also how many grams of thinsulate are there?
Well I am not liking my AA suit so much anymore, crotch split pretty much from back to front, done! I think I will replace it with cabela's guide wear, its seems anything that is made for icefishing is garbage, look at all the augers now, all junk, that's why I bought a tanaka post hole auger!
Striker for me! great suit, comfortable, warm, plenty of storage and floats really well (i tested). With these floating suits - MAKE SURE you wear the coat when you have the bibs on. Otherwise, if you go in, you'll be upside down pretty quick (legs will float, upper body won't)
could be! i only tested with coat and bibs.
