Yoj is a good shop.They really did a good job with the buisness.I used to go there back when terry owned it and was surprised when I went one day and he was gone.They are very knowledgable there,great place.

I'm compelled to add to this post.  I'm stuck at work but advised my brother to stop by the shop as I'd heard good things on this board.  Well it appears as though I heard right.  The gentleman in the shop couldn't have been nicer, gave a great deal of advice/guidance and has my brother headed out to try a few spots.  Whether or not he scores is not a guarantee, it's fishing so nothing is, but for a shop owner to be as outgoing and friendly as the dude at YOJ is a tremendous selling point for his business.  I'll go ahead and pile on to what you guys have already said; try YOJ and you won't be disappointed.  Thanks for the suggestion guys.

I heard it was the name of the original owner's wife...spelled backwards.

Garrett does seem to know his stuff.  I was telling him about a recent good day of fishing I'd had and out of the blue he says "you must have been fishing..."  He's young and has some pretty good local knowledge.  I was impressed.

Agree on YOJ. Friendly place and happy to share advice on fishing and hunting. I've been to sporting goods stores where they make you feel that they're doing you a favor by letting you in their store. I will also be back.
