gotta love the extreme cold snap, most of the lakes in my local were 3/4 wide open Wednesday and now they are locked back up (including maxi)  with a open pocket out between the points.  Checked where I'm fishing tomorrow and i have 4-5 this afternoon probably 6 by morning,,get to try the new clam i bought monday   yeee-ha

checked a couple ponds i fish today by demotte and fair oaks and only took one good poke with a spud. maybe sunday

Two inches this morning vs. 1 1/4  yesterday afternoon. I should have at lest 2 1/2 by tomorrow which will be good enough for me.
