Some pics from first outing

Got into some nice fish at the first spot my buddy Aaron and i tried

First fish of the year happened to be a bass

Lots of lookers on the camera but managed to pull in 5 eaters and let go a few others i could have kept

PB Bluegill 10inches and 3/4 of a lb

Moved out next to my buddy nate and started to get into them

Second time out and first with the bros, pile starting to grow next to the FishTV

Got 22 keepers to take home including another 10 inch gill caught by josh, 11inch crappie caught by jed and a fat 10 1/4 inch perch which was the first of the day

is there a differant rule for bass in your area,,i thought it was a closed season now

Great catch, bass are legal to keep there is a special regulation open till march whenever.

For the Finger Lakes ONLY (with the EXCEPTION of Cayuga, Otisco, Owasco, and Skaneateles)  the Black Bass season is extended to March 15 and then is catch and release (artifical lures only -Note KeukaZ71-just joking) from March 16 until opening day.
And before anyone asks NO Silver Lake is NOT a Finger Lake...    Cya...

Thank god somebody knows. I had some old fool mumble under his breath last spring at west river "don't those boys know the seasons closed that's a big fine if the DEC comes down here" because my bro Jed had just caught a nice bass on a minnow. It was the 14th of march and we knew we had till the next day. People should read the regs for an area and find out where somebody is before opening their mouths because that guy wasn't the only one I've had say crap. Ik the regs I make sure cause I dont wanna break the law and I don't plan on it.

Thanks man, and yea any fish in the bucket is a good one. I'm just hoping this year is better than last and I think it might be, I mean ive already been out twice and last year I didn't get out till the end of January and only 3 more times after that. Good luck to you
