I hate the jackasses that set up right next to you.  Literally one guy put his portable between me and a tipup 15yds away.  I came out of my cube and said "You got to be kidding me!"   Asshole.

That's awesome I got a buddy who does that he actually fell through the ice with it, it was that thin. He also brought a gallon of gas with him lol like the full tank on the auger is not enough

Yeah bunch of drunks. Legal size pike nice crappie and a few keeper gills as well. He also left some other trash I had to pick up. Scary thing is those guys probally got into a truck on the road last night.

I don't get it.  Some people don't use the brain God gave them.  If they don't want to keep them then catch and release.

I think you hit the nail on the head with these.  Number one is a big one for me.  I got into it with a guy a few years ago who walked on the ice with a auger and instead of drilling his own hole thought he would fish the ones I just drilled.

One of my peeves is people that bring thier dog or dogs on to the ice and can't control them.They let them run amuck knocking over stuff,pissing on your tip ups and being pests in general.....

It's sad to see the bottom of smelt city (Higgins) from my belly boat every spring. Don't know how people can do this to what Nat'l Geographic once said was the 6th most beautiful lake in America.

I was out tonight on Lake Cadillac and someone had left a 22" pike on the ice...I thought that was pretty stupid!

I don't get mad on the ice. It's almost like I am in heaven while ice fishing. It is my rest and relaxation time. If someone leaves trash or is disrespectful then I am disappointed that there parents didn't teach them any manners or respect. But I will not let that ruin my fishing trip. If I see trash on the lake I clean it up. It does not make me happy but I am just not going to let it upset me. Bottom line is wipe your own a$$!

here today i see what i thought was a trash bag flaoting across the lake and end out it was a floating lantren from are asian friends. any ways there was a guy close to it so i asked him to snag it so it could be trown out. guess ware it ends up in the back of my truck cause there is not a garbage can for litter ware we park. so some a-hole just threw it in the back of my truck to be a smart ass. any ways could have taken it with him but it ends up in my truck  going to my garbage can casue some one is a lazy s.o.b. any ways keep up the good picking up the trash effort you guys it helps to vent every once in a wile at dumb people. any ways call the dnr on that guy with the pike and carrpies that got left on the ice they should investigate it at least. so they know to check around see who has what piles of fish that get left if it is a local they may get arested. when the law catches up with them.

I think 100ft is more than enough I think the farthest I have ever gone is maybe 50ft, running a ridge on Muskegon  LK. Only one To pick up a pike that day so it worked.

some times you got to have leway on the newbies that set there tip up so far apart start a conversation with them and tell them it help not to place them so far apart as a technique talk with them not saying to give them every thing if it bug yo uthat bad talk tothem and tell them why they should do it that way...all there doing that way is searching for pike that are not around one but you put them closer togather you may hit a school of walleye or a pike with them closer togather.
