Fished on the river around Galena yesterday on pool 12. The ice was almost two feet thick it took up the whole spiral on my 6" lazer auger. Fishing was slow, but i could not believe how thick the ice is. Called a friend that fished yesterday morning on the river in pool 13 and he only had 4" of ice. Unbelievable!
