Well during the unusually wierd winter that this happened about 150 houses in southern Minnesota went threw the ice for the most part all the shantys came out in one piece but there were many that were destroyed on there way out. It was very wierd because around the houses there was 12 inches of ice but the houses that had open holes in them the rain went down the holes and eroded them out untill the houses went threw. It was very different to be able to walk and drive right up to the houses that were under water.
