I would like to thank everyone who was able to make it out today.
Was awesome meeting all of you.

Special thanks to Mike at Indian Hill for bringing a set of 5 Cherry wood 30in tilts ($300 value), and 2 Nor'Easters ($35ea) to raffle off..

1st Place for the Set of 5 30in tilts went to: BaitBucket
2nd Place for one of the Nor'Easters went to: Unoman
3rd Place for the last Nor'Easter went to: Boulderdash

(sorry for the pic quality in these, lighting in there was not so good)

Thanks Will for a great afternoon. Great job putting this together. Congrats on the new traps. You will hand those down to your grandchildren some day!

should have tried to make it, those 5 traps for $300? I understand that they are handmade one at a time and among the best out there, but i had no idea they were that expensive. Is it because of parts, craftmanship or the type of wood itself. might make sense to try to make on and see how hard it actually is, its probaly pretty difficult. anyone know why they would be so expensive?

Looks like fun guys. Wish I could have made it. Hopefully the ice will be here soon. Until then it will be open water fishing. Congrtas to the raffle winners. Mike that was awsome of you to donate the traps and Nor' easters. I can't wait to put the ones I got to good use.

All of the above.
In this case it was a special type of wood I believe.

Great day today to share a beer with some new ice fishing friends and some familiar coconuts that I have had the pleasure of sharing the ice with. Can't wait to get after it and hopefully see you all on the ice soon

man i missed a great party with the coconuts. another blown chance for a good time due to work. musta been some good laughs with the comedy team of porter crazy and flags. good to see a few new faces to match the posts. c ya on the ice soon.

with all those fishing miles he puts on traveling the globe to find the next big catch...who would employ such a character

sorry im a little cranky. i'm having fishing withdrawls right now. you see im going on a 15 day work stretch so to answer your question. yes i work so i can go fishing and fishing is not my work.

Sorry I missed the gathering it'swalways a great time. I sat in a treestand all day hoping for some meat to walk by for the ice. At 3 PM 4 does came into the area just out of range and kept themselves hidden in the thicket. They made me and changed direction. So close yet so far away. Maybe next time.

Jimbo, I set up a chair on the dining room table like a tree stand. I did a few grunts and bleats, climbed down and went to the liquor cabinet for the Buca.... bagged and tagged a shot. Here's to ya. Must be time for the Senior Van to sTart making its rounds. The GODs will rise off our rockers once again.

that a boy jimmy. nice job keeping the spirits up on the rocker GODS. you are doing a great job as the team leader. isn't it time that you start getting paid for it? what happened to art? is he still with your team?

Kevin, I'm certain Art will be here when the time is right. Once a member of the GODs, always a member. Let's hope for a good year of safe ice so we can all raally the troops for a few good times.
