Devils Lake tourney interest??

So I saw that there's a tourney on devils lake for the volunteer fire dept. I was curious if anyone had ever gone to it, and if anybody would be interested in going to it. If there was a car pool it would be cheaper and a ticket is only $25 with some SWEET drawing prices, also a 3 day non-resident fishing license is only $15.

I'm interested. I fished that lake a few times and it is prolly the best place to fish on this continent. I'm not kidding. When I get ready to buy a retirement property, it will be there. :tipup: :tipup: :tipup:

Ya not sure they started selling them Oct. 1st and don't have a counter just says available until sold out. I emailed asking so hopefully I'll have an answer soon. Thanks for the interest fellas

They do run out usually pretty soon for the tickets lots buy them just for the door prizes.   I won a DVD player with two screens for the car two years ago as a door prize.  Last year fishing was pretty good in the tournament... most years its usually pretty miserable with below zero temps and wind... you have to sit outside for the tournament.  Good luck!  Win a new Truck!  Way better odds than the mega lottery.

I guess I'd better pass on it for this year. Got some issues to deal with at home that will prevent long trips. I'll get back to DL sometime tho!  :tipup: :tipup: :tipup: For people that may not know this, you can go to Woodland Resort's website and they have a live webcam that you can watch for ice forming, or even just watch people go out and come in. They also have one in their bait shop. That's where I stay when I go up there. It's in Creel Bay. They have some VERY affordable lodging. Ya I probably won't be going either, decided to go back to school so I'll be just starting when its on so maybe next year.
