Red south of Wpg. Mar. 2
« on: Mar 03, 2005, 10:52 AM »
Went out last night for 1.5 hrs.  Got one walleye 20"(released) at around 6:15pm :).  Was out for 2hrs on sunday but got skunked :'(.  It's still slow :(.  Got this one with about 3ft. of water under the ice.  Dropped down my rattle spoon with minnow and got her immediately. Must have hit her on the head.

hi all: went south on the red to St.Nortert. i was about halfway between the gates and where the LaSalle river comes in, right in the middle. caught a small sauger which i released and a 13 in. walleye which i took home. that was between 8:30 and 9:00 A.M. other wise it was dead. was there from 7:15 to 12:00 A.M. i will try again closer to the LaSalle river.

i live in south wpg and i was wondering if there were any good spots on the red close to the flood gates?
The fishing was good, it was the catching that was bad.
