1/5/2014 @8:02PM still snowing blizzard like flakes estimated 8 inches has fallen and another 4-6 on the way. was out ice fishing got a pic of the weather. by the way in some spot there is 2 foot drifts like my drive way my dad could not make it up it with the suv by the way it is 24*F at 8:02 pm falling to 11*f tonight with 4-6 more inches of snow coming... i got a pic i may post it in a minute at least 12-18 inches of snow on the lake and still snowing! with 8-10 inches of ice under it on kent lake.

here the picture from about 3:30 p.m. we left at 6 p.m.

here is a picture of how much snow has fallen in my back yard to about 18" inches approx plus or minus.

by the way it still snowing! even at 9:11 P.M.

looks like will be having some nice weather Monday @-13*F yes that is a minus sign in front and Tuesday night -4*F . so i don't thing this snow will disappear quick enough but at least were getting more ice? from the sub arctic blast were about to get?

This weekend temps look great.

Just too much snow to walk through. Hard to scout for new spots.

currently -10*F with a -36*F wind chill and about 24 inches of snow on the ground! with deep drifts ever ware.

Currently -11* with a realfeel of -43*. That is just too cold. I was looking through icecycles on my eyelashes while cleaning out the driveway.

had to start bringing in items from the garage. like car wash soaps, batteries, juices things that won't move right when frozen. charging all the batteries i can't bring in.

so we had record snows i heard
i know the mosquitoes are hurting this winter!! can't stand them things
tires are leaking more air because of the coldness

i sure hope the homeless have some where to get warm.

3 days of rain will be nice except the ice on power lines, for walking on lakes again!
