46* partly cloudy. Checked one of my waters, one guy on it close to shore, 6fow. Slushy water on top of thinning ice that is half as thick as it was a week ago. Said he tested out further, variable ice thickness and quality , 2" - 5" depending on where you were at the moment. Fish were hitting fairly well but the location is a sort'em place, maybe 1 in 6 is a marginal eater, he did have a meals worth. Surfaces ready, need cold
