Anyone check out the Black Friday ads? Scheels has a Velilar FL-18 for like $319 and an FL-8SE for $279 as a doorbuster. That's the last piece of the ice fishing puzzle for me. Told my wife I'd go out shopping but only if I could buy my Christmas present at Scheels. Good luck to those venturing out shopping with their wives/significant others. I'll be the guy stiff arming people on my way to the ice fishing stuff at Scheels.

No, I made a deal with my wife. I bought some new waterproof bibs and a really nice coat, two rods, and some other odds and ends. Ended up getting some stuff for the kids and waiting on the Vex. Stopped in at the Rooster and for $20 more i can get the FL-8. I figure they will notice and appreciate my business more anyway.
