We're talking about doing a few other get togethers so everyone has more of a chance to get to one and some that are closer for some of the people who can't make the other one for what ever reason.

Prompton or Duck harbor would be great places. A not so bad ride for many of us. Is just up 81 basically. But parking is limited at both places $:-\$

capt.crappie prompton has a lott more parking than duck harbor.plus i think they are going to have the first parking area open with a little luck.bellmont has lotts of parking too.duck harbor would be tough with parking but a great lake to fish.i hope a bunch of us can hook up somewhere.

what about shahola or Promised land.... or even long pond. if it happens at the Pac it would have to be a the main launch area... for the parking. i guess the south end has a few areas as well that has parking.

Plus there is lots of BIG fish to play with.

As far as I'm concerned have one every week so everyone has a chance to get to some and even get to one that's close by. I'm just throwing this out there because the other get together is two hours away for me and with me working the midnight shift and on the weekends that one is pretty much a no can do unless I take off of work.

sahola is a great a great place. big fish. lotts of parking.two lots. i didnt fish promish land in 30 years.i met a guy at gander mt. saturday thats been hitting it.said panfish size limit but, nice bass.im game for any of these lakes.would be great to meet some of you guys.

i was on long pond last year. got some nice panfish and a few eyes.hit it twice got eyes both times.this is LONG POND in wayne county you are talking about?not lots of parking but great spot.

Long pond is nice but off the main road aways and there might be a snow problem there, you have to keep that in mind, My thoughts would be shohola or propton for easy access.

I have never fished lake Jean, so I would try to make that one ---- ummm-- except I have a Prius. YOu wanna talk about AWFUL in the snow -------

But I would also love to meet some of you "Pocono" guys. So I would try to make a get together over there if it works out.

Hills Creek ? I dont care if there is a get together or not -- I will definitely be going bach there again this year !!

When I was a kid living at home I borrowed my moms VW beetle to go bear hunting. She would have killed me if she knew. I was on this logging road and I slid on a patch of ice into the ditch. Only two tires left on the road. the other two kind of dangling ove the ditch. ----Anyway, a gang of bear hunters came by and we picked it up and sat it back on the road and off I went :-)

Thats funny, dad and I did the same thing in his truck in bear season a couple years ago. I thought we were dead and just like that we stopped. We couldnt pick that up though, so lucky my uncle just happened to drive by minutes after and was able to pull it enough that we got off the ledge.

That's funny stuff there. I have to ask, if you got a bear where were you going to put it? Sit him in the passenger seat? Now that would be hilarious.
