only times i ever fished there i parked at the upper ramp and fished that end of the lake never fished the part below the "narrows"

Topher7694, I have no idea since I never ice fished here before. Either way I'm in. Maybe MarkD or Chez can answer that better since they fished Prompton before.

Sounds good to me but is the upper launch the first or second launch you come to when you're coming up the road? Now one other question, what time? The earliest I could get there is probably around 9AM.

I FISHED THE WHOLE LAKE THREW THE YEARS. I THINK ITS ALL PRETTY GOOD FISHING MOST DAYS.I HAVE GOTTEN NICE SMALLIES CLOSER TO THE SPILLWAY. I HAVE GOTTEN WALLEYES IN AND AROUND BOTH SIDES OF THE NARROWS ON THE ICE AND OPEN WATER.I THINK WHERE EVER WE GET ON WONT BE BAD.WILL BE NICE JUST TO GET TO MEET SOME OF THE GUYS.[i hope chris dont bring his cousin D.J]

Chez, thanks for the offer to drill my holes. I'll have to figure out where you're at when I get there but then again I could just look for where the ice is bowed down about a foot or two and figure it out that way. HAHAHA

MarkD, I'm pretty sure I know where you mean since it's been years since I was at Prompton. And no Im not bringing Chez's brother D.J. Although I will show Chez how well a Showdown and Eskimo auger works.

The one we're talking about now is for Prompton Dam on Jan 19th. Once we get this one worked out we'll be working on planning a day for Lackawanna State Park.

I hear you there, I'm in the same boat since I work the midnight shift. It's not too bad for me as long as I don't have to go back to work after working and a day if fishing.

MY SON CAUGHT A TIGAR MUSKY OUT OF THE SPILLWAY BACK IN JULY. IT WAS ONLY AROUND 22 INCHES.WE NEVER CAUGHT ANY OUT OF THE LAKE. WE ALWAYS MANAGE A FEW EYES OUT OF THE LAKE ICE SEASON THOUGH.

chez im planning to hopefully hang near you a walleye through the ice has been a goal going on 3 years now maybe you can teach me a trick or two
