They are opening a new store in Columbus, OH in the spring of 2013!! That will call for a roadtrip!!

I have this thing with trying to visit as many diffrent cabelas stores as I can so I might be headed in your goys direction some time. But happy to here you are getting one of the best stores on earth in your areas.

Seems the Dallas Pike one would be closer but then I don't remeber all the places back home, I have been away since 85 and back only 3 times since. The Dallas Pike store is a corparate store, with 30% game mounts.

By comparison...Post Falls is 125,000 sq ft and Billings is 80,000 sq ft.

I think Snappy's will probably always have a better fishing dept but hopefully this new competition will make Snappy's bring their prices down to a reasonable level like Black Sheep had to up in Coeur D'Alene when Cabelas came in up there. I think this will be a win win situation for all of us who shop for our fishing gear in this area.
