Anybody else love when Pooley posts just so you can see that picture (avatar)? Of course we all want to read what he has to say, but its hard not to keep looking over at that picture. I'm convinced she winked at me once, but that another story.

Waiting for deer season in plattsburgh as well. Got 1 trail camera out last week, 2 more to go this week.

Hey guys,
Been surfing site for a couple of weeks while putting the finishing touches on my Smittysled,what a awesome idea,any one else working on or completed icefishing projects while waiting for the ice?I also seen the winter forcast and conditions are very similar to the late 70's,keep your fingers crossed that the forcasters are right!

Hi. Just finished waxing up the skis on my Smitty Sled. Melt the wax (a candle will do), brush it on, then smooth it out with a paintbrush in one hand and a hair dyrer in the other. Works like a charm. Now if we only get a winter like in the late 70's! NOTE!! If you melt the wax over an open flame, REMOVE IT BEFORE IT BEGINS TO SMOKE WHITE. It will auto ignite! As long as it's hot enough it will re-ignite again and again. Trying to blow it out may splash burning wax and spread the fire. I did it, and I should have known better. At least I was outside

x2! It's been a good ride this summer, and it will only get better! Salmon season will start any day now, then bow season starts, then the shotgun season, then the muzzleloader, and then the venison lunches on the ice will begin! Man, it's getting closer every day guys and gals!

I'm back pretty much full time. I did check in a couple times this summer, but with getting the boat back in the water so I spent a lot of time on MFF. Just soldered up 500 teardrop jigs today. Getting the itch.

Back on a regular basis...batteries charged on showdown and cameras. Had all the huts set up over the weekend cleaning and getting the juice flowing. A little slow before steelheads start.

We're getting psyched for the season!! Being deprived of ice last season, we're jones'ing to get on some hard water this upcoming season!! We're also in full-throttle mode setting up the NYS Ice Pro-Am events. Check the site often for updates on new sponsors and information!

Before we get the ice gear ready though, we're gearing up for the influx of perch into the bays!!

I DONOT HUNT ANYMORE,i just fish,love that fishing,and i still see the deer out my back window almost every day,but i
