Is there still safe ice west of Kalispell?

Just seeing if anybody is still ice fishing west of kalispell? What lake? How thick is the ice? Any info helps. I want to ice fish more just dont want to drive clear out there for nothing.

Are you located in the northern half or souther half of MT?  Check out some of the mountainish lakes and reservoirs.  Still pretty good on a few.

Im up in the Northwest corner. Yeah i am sure alot of the mountain lakes are still frozen, but just wanting to know about like the thompson chain of lakes and Mcgregor, Bitteroot and Ashley. Any info helps thanks!

Ah.  Gotcha.  I am located in Belgrade and so I am not too sure about the northwest area.  There are a few southwest lakes that are still frozen but it is going quickly.  Sorry I can't be of more help.

Went to Mcgregor yesterday afternoon, still good 6"-8", fish weren't very active yesterday, a few light bites but none on the ice.
