Snow has melted and rivers have opened up a little bit but nothing to be worried about yet. Shorelines will get tender if the weather keeps up. With the warm weather coming in the next few weeks only drive on with trucks later in the month if you know the lake. Be smart with the warm winter we had and don't go by other people having trucks on the ice, the last few weeks use common sense and be safe. The ice will be safe but the shores and by any moving water or springs will weaken quicker than normal this year. PM me if you want specific details on ice conditions on echo. I am taking a group of high school kids out ice fishing wednesday for their outdoor school program and would not volunteer to do this if the ice wasn't safe. Am heading out in the morning to check out the ice all around echo and possibly head back over to pasqua if the fishing is still slow on echo. I spend 3-5 days a week on these lakes and will keep everyone posted on ice conditions. Keep an eye on the fort qu'appelle topic for ice conditions and fishing reports. Big Burk
