Howdy Crappie!

Here's the link to SD GFP licenses:
http://www.sdgfp.info/Wildlife/LicenseFee.htm

For a 3-day NonRes you'd be looking at $32.00.  The 1-day'rs are $14.00.

Here's another link for license agents.  You can access an agent by SD's cities by clicking on the letters for the city names... not sure if you know where you're gonna get yours or not, but if not, this one maybe helpful:

http://www.sdgfp.info/Wildlife/Agents/Index.htm

Good luck in your SD fishing trip - I hope ya get em!!!!

Hey stumper, We're coming from NW Indiana, approx. 12hr drive, to catch some giant gills!! Best buddy has a friend in watertown(sp). He said slab gills, walleyes, and crappies!! We used to go to Valentine, Nebraska, but heard the drought has taken its toll, so we're coming to your neck of the woods!! The biggest gill I've ever caught through the ice was a 1lb.12oz slab in Nebraska!! Gonna try and top that, if at all possible. Take care and have a crappie day. Crappie Rob

12 1/4 ", caught in 1992, was one hell of a trip. Ended up with 7 fish over a pound and a half. Dave Genz showed me the spot, and I fished with him and Tony Dean. If my memory is correct, Tony filmed that weekend. Have a crappie day. Crappie Rob

Adrian, I don't know if I'll be in the area or not. We have a 12hr drive ahead of us, and I might have buddy talked into going to Upper Red Lake!! If we end up in your area, I'll give you a shout!! Take care, and have a crappie day. Crappie Rob.
