Wigglers

Anyone know the best way to keep Wigglers (mayfly nymphs) for the weekend i imagine i keep them in the water and can i preserve them for use in the summer?

I ve kept them for weeks on end. Usually buy 4-500, and keep them in my bait frig, in a sytrofoam minnow bucket. Change water every couple days. Done it for years.

should i use creek water or can i use distilled ... we r on city water and not too sure about the chlorine and can u freeze the dead ones and  and use them ??? Never used them before but a buddy had some frozen from last year,,,so i wanted to try them...  i ordered 250 and really want to try them out live .. thanks for the info too  :tipup:

I would use creek water if you have acess to it .  They are dipped from lakes or streams.
