MyFishFinder.com Just like iceshanty but warmer
did they save it or did it go to the bottom?
I'm heading up to Willoughby in two weeks. Will be staying at a cottage at the north end. Looking to do some ice fishing. I'm interested in ice conditions as burbot. I have always wanted to catch burbot but in the Adirondacks there aren't many places to do this. Can anyone suggest what depths to look for them? Dead bait or live? etc? Thanks!
i would sugest dead bait on bottem in between 50-10 ft of water the breding season is just about under way
Dont waste time fishing 50 feet of water! Just stay at 10-25 feet of water!
Is that anywhere near safe yet?
thanks for the info, I like to go straight across the boat launch to the cove on the other side but that is probably not much ice either
Sitting on the bottom..100'
That is going to be a difficult recovery in water that deep, can't just dive down with a rope in your teeth and tie off, gonna need to pony up for a diver and a wrecker with lots of cable. Is there a fine for having that sled in the drink til spring or do they only fine for trucks and cars?
they will float it to the surface and tow it to shore with a boat
"he's talking lake trout"Seems to me they were referring to ling.
"they were doin pretty good the other night at 30-50 pulled up one 7 pounds"That 7lber would have been a state record.....?
