There is some good pike fishing in the Malta area (South along Hwy 191 between Malta and the Missouri R.). Not sure if this is far enough East or not?

Welcome to the I.S. boards Trey Howard. There are countless bodies of water that harbor trophy class pike in Northeastern MT.  A great place to start is the MTFWP website-just use the interactive waterways map. They list species present in most waters.
So many fish, so little time.
