On winning the first Wednesday Night Team League Tourney!!

We had 6 teams tonight at 3 Rivers!!


The results were.....


1st Ben Vania and Tony Aloia with 5 gills and 5 crappies weighing in at 2.93 lbs.  $70
2nd Ralph Steiger and Joe Anderson with 5 gills and 4 crappies weighing in at 2.46 lbs. $20
3rd Greg with 5 gills weighing in at 1.19 lbs
4th Kyle Seljan and Bruce Borore with 3 crappies and 2 gills weighing in at 1.03 lbs
5th Bobby Bergren and Ian Bosto with 3 crappies weighing in at .71 lbs
6th Rocky Martin and Adam Black with one gill weighing in at .25 lbs

Ben and Tony also won big fish weighing in at .61 lbs $30


We had a great time and can't wait til next week at Loomis Lake in Valpo!! We have $30 into the series pot so far with 2 events left. Lets get some more teams out there and make it interesting!!!

Saw you fisihng the weed line or I think that was you?  The bite was better from 4-5pm. We started to fish at 3:30 and figured most of the guys would frown on us if we were already fishing and then wanted to get in the tourney. Going this afternoon/eve. Bigger craps coming at dark.

I am going to try this place out for the first time ever tonight.  Should be there by 6 pm.  How is the ice?  Is it solid all around, or are there some spots to avoid.  I am not brining the shanty this time and plan to fish using light up tip downs and a propane lantern.  Come over and say hi as I haven't met too many from this site before.  Lucas

It should be ok but watch out around the edges they will be soft with the cattails and ground warming them up with todays temps.  Last time i was out there it was ok but have not been there this week.  Be safe and good luck.
