Its been years since I fished Shelburne Bay for lakers cause I  got skunked there-it was just after the town dumped some toxic crap into the bay -good laker spots are not froze this year.

Arnolds bay is always a good spot in panton , vt .. I would Jig for them which i think is way more fun then watching tip ups all day. I would use white tube jigs or big bucktail jigs. there are few sunken islands in that area i would fish those sunken islands in about 45 feet of water. I dont what the ice conditions are in that are though?? Good luck
I do all types of fishing; but I am Die hard Ice angler.
I love Ice Fishing the lakes of Rutland County. Recently moved to NY and now will be Ice fishing the Lakes Of New York.
