What a crappie day....

It was a really crappie day.... ;)


Had my limit by noon;



I put my rod in the holder and went to do somthin, then when I came back I saw a big mark on the 'bird and as soon as I moved the rod BAM, first thought was HOLY CRAP theres a big crappie down there! then she took a run and I was oh no, stinkin northern, then got her to the hole then HOLY CRAP take two, she hit an orange gill pill w/ a orange impulse maggot. Funnest part all day.



The gills were tight lipped today, only caught 4 all day with this girl being the best, any gill over 9"  go's back by my rules, so she was lucky. ;)



Oh what irony....

That first picture is amazing! That largemouth looks like it has a blue-ish silver tint to it. Was that from the camera flash?

it's the camera on my phone that uses an led for flash, so probably.
