Any info on this lake?  Might venture out there this weekend.  Thanks

I think a guy from work went there last weekend, but after this week's weather, I don't think any reports from last week are worth much for this weekend.  The weather is starting to look a lot better after tomorrow though!

Yeah, thanks.  I have never fished the lake, so I wanted to try a new spot.

its a good lake, my favorite place for open water. ice is good too, but it takes a good bit of cold nights to get safe because of the ever changing water levels. I'd put $ down that its not safe yet.  If you do some forum searches, you should see some info and reports from myself and others.  what were you hopeing to go after?

Northerns and hoped picking up an elusive walleye.  I've seen some pics of decent eyes coming out of there.

Heard of some people fishing out there, but not catching much at all.  At least the people I've heard of fishing there.

Some of my students have been fishing there in years past and this year.  They have caught some nice pike and walleyes.  But not with any "regularity" so to speak.  They have gone out for a night bite and fished the day and haven't caught much at all.  Nothing at night.  They said there was 4 inches the first outing and the night bite there was DEC out checking licenses so it must be somewhat safe.

I'm not asking anyone for a honey hole, just some general areas to try out.  I mostly stick to Black Lake, Muskellunge Lake, Butterfield Lake and the St. Lawrence River.  Thanks fellas.

I have never ice fished it much but i fish it in the summer.  There is a big sand flat out in front of the launch, thinking thats where I would start for the eyeballs,  As for the northerns pretty much anywhere but in the middle it gets pretty deep.
