All I can say is I'm po'ed I didn't get out before the balmy temps and rain screwed it all up!! My wife needs a full time job so I can fish more..

I think I read a more detailed account of your rescue a couple years ago. Strange how things [skipping school/poaching] happen to put that kid where he was needed, I wonder how that situation changed his life also. Good story with good ending

Buddy is coming into town this weekend from Texas. I told him that I would get him out fishing. I told him we would either go ice fishing or steelhead fishing. There is no ice around to be found and now the river is blown out. Looks like we may be taking the paddle boat out to a lake

. Come Sunday afternoon we may have a "Brave Souls Part 2"

You can get some fish....quality fish. We have been tearing up some toothy's and the bite is still on. I've given it a reprieve but with no ice, I'm going back to what puts em on the table. PM me if you want to hook your buddy up with the long rods!
