Well went to the new golden spot and had a really good afternoon 60 goldens over 8 inches and and another 75 smaller goldens all around 6 inches what a great day back it tomoro ...

I just got done checking both my tanks there alittle stirred up but giant mean 8"or better most mine are 9"the grand total for giants 200 giants and lost count at 600 on5"to 7" fish . Fishing everyday gives me that time to pin point when the fish are biting the best and at what tide!! I have it where from 2 until dark i can get 50 giant with right conditions. Now just need ice

I Have at least 200 hundred of these and only fish this spot three thime for about 5 hours!!
It s crazy you can fish all day but your if not there for that open window nothing. Then again if you hit right it a all out blitz sweet

I caught a bunch that size this year on a fly rod. They'll eagerly take small nymphs. I ended up using them as bait on spin gear and caught some nice bass.

I use a sabiki rig which I only use two hooks plus a gold sweetish pimples.When fresh water fishing. Tipped with Maggot or Mouses. If you in mass you can only use two hooks I m not. Some the back water i fish are in the marina district so can use all the hooks plus gold sweetest pimple.
it's finding them which is hard part but if you have a cove,harbor,marina off a large body of water, look for shallowed weeded areas, where the sun hits most of the day. Early morning (sun up) and right before dark. Sun bright days are better.I ll take some pictures when I go out Friday Saturday and Sunday. What they look like on the surface splashing and dimpling. I ve caught over 1400 on rod and reel. after this weekend hoping just to have giants or seven inch fish or better. with the good weather and fishing all weekend. Need about 600 giants and 200 5 to 6 to have enough to fish alot this winter . When you figure them out, it s a blast !!!!!

There nothing to believe these spot i m fishing are very good and just tring to help you guys find other like it in your areas. This weekends weather is perfect
and you do alittle looking in shallow cove or bay with weeds you find heavy schools of goldens.I ll have more picture at the end of the weekend in big white coolers so you can see how true it is ! In nice clear water all set up. Three long days of fishing in these conditions should be awesome. Happy turkey day.
Believe or not my tank are filled with goldens,use advise as you like just tring to help. Laugh all you want great bait and alot time on my hand, means i pick the condition i fish and how much since i just retired! This is true good luck

Tributary back water where it s brackish and had tides and marshes. I seen school that was 50 yards by 50 yards. These are place where only one two other people know what these fish are it awesome.
