Thanks boss. Sheldon down to troutfitters kept telling me it was winter killed but we've actually caught more fish out there so far this year than we did all last year ??? and some NICE fish too. I usually don't listen to people when they tell me it's winter killed though. That usually means a bunch of crappy fishermen had a lot of bad luck ;D :roflmao: :roflmao: :roflmao:

Terry, last time I checked this post I missed yours............that pic was this year, 28th of December I believe (off the top of my head)............yes it was winter killed, I have finally confirmed that........but apparently they stocked it twice in the summertime with catchable-sized 3N trout, those are the fish that they hit with high pressure during incubation and it knocks out the sex chromosomes so they put all their energy into feeding instead of spawning! Supposed to grow up to 8 pounds in 3 years if the lake has the nutreints to sustain them! :o :o :o :flex:super-rainbows!! hope they get that big in Eena! WOW!

What time at coo coo. Looks like Whiskey is coming. I will be on the first right to the left of the T, by the island. The road starts with a D I think and the last word is landing. Easy to get on lake there.

Ya we were fishing bare handed inside of there. That place we were at is only 100 yards from Guest road. Great ice for the quads heh?

Ice was perfect. Spent more time cruising around the lake looking for potential new spots, and talking with the locals, than actually fishing.

Heh Pitbell. I thought you were a good hunter. I read something about you tracking me around the lake but you were following the wrong trail man. I don't go on the north side usually with my quad. I get on right off guest road by camp lever. You can spit and hit the lake from the road. I take my quad more on the south side. One day I have to try that meat hole point again. Good in summer. If you are trying to follow me, just come on along. I have very few secrets. But if you really must follow my trail, its very easy, just look for the blood trail :roflmao: I also go around and look for fresh holes and blood on ice. That yaught club was lots of blood on the 16 holes that were there about a month ago. But all I've been able to catch there is a little 27 incher. The spot were we were in the hut, really heats up in later Feb early March. There is a creek (run off) that comes in there and the ling and lakers get excited there in the spring.

We followed sled and quad tracks to the far end of the lake. Theres a small weedy bay with lots of holes. We thought maybe the older quad tracks were yours. Lots of rainbow action in that little bay.

Ooooops yes those are mine. That little bay is where I caught the 3lb 8oz bow. Is that where your bow pics are from? Yes it is a great little bay. A buddy of mine fishes there and always gets his limit. Moms the word ;)2

75 feet of water my not-so-fat ass! The only rainbows that live down that far are Gerrards! And we don't have any round here! I buy 4 feet of water, pulled that off a few times myself.......
