champlain quad??

Hey Champlain guys

Heading up to the islands to fish for the weekend. I have the option of bringing 2 quads or leaving them at home and walking. What do you guys think, will they do well on the ice or should I forget about it and just walk?

should be good with the 4 wheelers since it was like a highway out there yesterday with trucks all over the place.  looks like its going to get cold after this little warm up too, so it shouldn't get too slushy.

My wife looks forward to this trip almost as much as I do, have to have one for her  ;). Hopfully we'll get into some northerns. Were staying right on the gut and have done well there as well as highgate and kelleys bay. I would like to try the sandbar on monday on our way back down but we'll see how things go
