An ode to our great state
« on: Feb 25, 2011, 06:42 PM »
It's winter in Montana
And the gentle breezes blow,
70 miles per hour at 52 below!
Oh, how I love MONTANA
When the snow's up to your butt;
...You take a breath of winter air
And your nose is frozen shut.
Yes, the weather here is wonderful,
And you may think I'm a fool.
But I could never leave Montana
Cause I'm frozen to the stool.

God blessed our mess!  We love Montana!

Jay

Nice one.

Could have been singing that as we set up shelters and drilled holes at 25 below this morning to keep our spirts up. :'(

That pretty much sums up this winter Jay. Hope you get on Peck again this season.
So many fish, so little time.

I can't take credit for writing this piece only finding it and sharing with my outdoor brotherhood.

@ Tyler...

How does Peck fish mid March?  I have the week of St Patrick's day off for spring break and want to spend the time fishing for big fish.  I can catch perch, trout, and salmon anytime.  I need mean toothy fish like pike, walleye, and lake trout.  Do I make the run to Peck or up to NW Montana?
