Let me tell ya first hand, the vex has made my fish production increase two fold.  It was the best investment I ever made and it has feed my family well. In fact i got enough fis today to do a fish fry for my ill Mother-in-law!  Mama is gonna have fresh fish before her demise!

BadgerFisher - This one time I caught a badger on my tipup..... ok so thats BS.

Originally from Wisconsin and hope to eventually retire back there someday to fish the lakes I grew up fishing. Fisher came from being a fisherman since I can remember.

I do boat restorations as a hobby,  My first "real" project was a resto of a 1995 Grady White 209 Escape center console.  Although I have since restored many others and now do almost exclusively vintage Boston Whaler Montauks, I still own my Grady.  She's the finest craft I have ever had.  She's taken me places I shouldn't have gone to catch fish I shouldn't have been fishing for, and gotten me home when I never should have left home in the first place.  :nono:
Out of respect for such a beautiful craft, I took the name Grady95.  Other boats come and go, but I'll always have my girl.
Cool thread

Pronounced "Ice'um Bay", 1 mile south of Pilot Knob. If you know of it, you've left a propeller or 2 there, Born and Raised.

Perch Eyes: It's my favorite thing to tip a jigging rap, buckshot minnow or spoon.
The effectiveness of this bait can not be over rated

I felt lucky I got it as it seems popular.
(sorry, percheyes42)

I also use this handle on other forums like SalmonCrazy where it must look pretty goofy.

Rebelicefshr....
I'm from Chattanooga, TN.  The first time that I saw ice on a lake was at the Cumberland Plateau.  I was dying to catch a fish thru it.

Transplanted to upstate NY via a two legged deer.  Had to find something to do to quell the cabin fever.

Been hittin' it pretty hard ever since, the ice for fish also.    :o

BTW, you'll know me when you see the THE flag flying.   ;)

Eagle Ed

Because my hometown was just North of Philadelphia and I loved going to see the Eagles play at Franklin Field/Vets Stadium/Linc.  Daughter use to get me tickets each year up until my 70th birthday.  Told her no more, as even with the new Linc Field they still have the worst fans I've ever observed regarding language and conduct.  Just below Jets fans at the old Meadowlands Field.  Greatest game was the only championship game Vince Lombardi ever lost in 1960 when the Eagles beat the Packers for the NFL Title in Philly.

My first handle on here was "Sarge66" back in '01 or '02 when I was stationed at Drum. Left in '04 to go to Fort Benning so with the minimal amount of ice fishing Georgia has to offer, after a few years when retired, I was offered a job back in NY State in '07. First thing I thought of was IS but couldn't remember the password ??? My wife standing behind me after countless login attempts says why don't you just change it to something icefishing related like Ice Digger?? I looked at her and said REALLY??? IceCutter sounded better to me  ;D

I played baseball at Oswego State.  When I tried out for the team I wore an old jersey with my last name "perry" on the back.  I was one of the bigger freshman trying out and the captain of the team was busting my balls by calling me "The Refrigerator Perry".  Eventually it was shortened to just Fridge and it has stuck with me ever since.  Everybody calls me Fridge now......even my dad.
My name is Fridge.........and I'm a hard water addict!
