Spent the weekend at the inlaws farm.  This morning fished Nickle lake, wow caught over 20 hammer handles it was a blast. Have not chased flags like that for a long time.

Way to go poorfisherman, that's a great number of pike. :tipup:
No matter what the fish's size it would be a fun day on the ice. :)

hey poorfisherman where abouts on nickle lake did u catch the pike at i fished out there on the boat in the summer caught some walleye and no pike how big were the jack u caught ?

I think it would be the old causway? Close to a brick pumping station. Was fishing in about 12 to 14 feet of water off a point.  The biggest we cauhht might have hit 2 pounds. Talked with a local guy he said the have gotten a few around the 6 mark this winter in the same area.  I was hoping for walleye but don't know the lake that well and did not have a lot of time.
