x67-c Ice Machine question

Hey guys, I recieved an Ice Machine for christmas and was wondering if I could get some comments on using the flasher mode. Is it comparable to a vex for ice fishing? How about the lcd screen for ice fishing?  Any tips or comments would be appreciated.

I don't own one, but did some research prior to buying my Vex.  As I heard it, it is comparable to a Vex, but with a lot more colors.  Not sure that actually helps or is confusing, but guys seem to like it.

Did you get the X67 or the X68?  I thought the X68 would be particularly useful, as I could put it on my boat, mark spots, & go back on the ice.
