Cheese, triscuits, and pepperoni. Cheese and pepperoni must be cut with the knife u just cut the perch eyes out with because u ran out of bait.

My buddy got me hooked on Egg McMuffins (his wife made a dozen for a weekend trip to Quinte).  I make them at home the night before - nuke a whisked egg for 30 seconds, put in on the bottom half of an english muffin, top it with the most processed quick melting cheese you can find, bacon optional, top with other half of english muffin, wrap tightly in tin foil.  Throw it on the buddy heater while out there in the trap, rotating and flipping sides for about 15 minutes or so.

Hot tea in a thermos, jack in a flask and some jack links pepper jerky and cheddar/ pretzel combos.
I love my job, it pays for my bait.

when I'm alone its usually a bag of chips and my red monsters lol. With the kid its penuts, jerkey, lil' donnetts, or whatever we happen to pick up at the gas station on the way.

If its going to be an overnighter with a group i will bring the coleman stove and whatever deer/pheasant/whatever I have killed and cook that up along with at least a 12 pack of coors light.

I was on a bus and just happened to be sitting on a news paper. This guy came up and asked. "Are you reading that ?"
I said  yes, stood up, turned the page and sat back down.

Usually some hot dogs for the coleman grill. Chips. My daughter likes to bring some snacks with her. But some deer steak tips go down good too.

what do you munch on when your out on the ice

beef jerkey, easy to carry and good for you. That and when it is really cold I take a thermos of hot chicken broth. If it is good enough for the Sherpa's on Everest it will surely work for me, LOL

Hershey's candy bars are good. Sometimes we bring the fixins for some smores. Wrap in tinfoil and cook until its all melted.
I also like peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. Me and my girlfriend made a ton of wildberry jam/jelly this year.
Strawberry/Rhubarb,Raspberry,blueberry,Salmonberry plus a bunch of mixed berry ones. Yummmm
