Grump, I have always secured my shacks like that no matter what size they are.   I actually pushed that sucker out by hand!

and when  your fishing with the Navy and the Marines thanks for a great day,USMC130FE and transplantfromMN you get a warm patriotic feeling, and when the eagle shows up... all you can do is say GOD BLESS AMERICA !! felt good to be back on the ice!!



i have some great pics of the eagle i took from far away. i can zoom the pic in when im editing but when i save it goes back to original size.can anyone tell me how to save and post the zoomed in pic??

I think I am jealous of guys that got ice that let's them put permanant shanties out.
The tiedowns do look a bit dangerous though.  Wouldn't straight down hold as well?
Heat wave here for next 10 days icefishing was fun all 5 days of it so far though.
