West end of the harbor until just east of the submerged peninsula is still good ice. Harbor Haas ice has blown out, and is now open water. Most everybody seemed to be fishing the submerged peninsula this morning. Too crowded for me.

As of saturday, there was still a lot of ice to fish. Maybe the whole harbor, but I didn't test all available ice. Outdated info, but it's the best I have.

I spoke with my father yesterday nite.  He live right in copper harbor and said there is ice fisherman out on the harbor.  So the ice is still good as far as of last nite.

we fished thursday with good ice (10 - 12 inches) up to the ferry dock, decent fish, even in the wind.

How did everyone do today? We only managed to get two, one being a decent keeper.

Any updates from this weekend??  I haven't been to the harbor yet this year.  Heading out early Monday morning.  Does anyone have an updated ice report?  Has it broken up recently?  Thanks

I took a half day from work on Friday and went up.  Fished from 2:30 - 3:00 until dark.  Caught four, and kept the largest which was 19".  Ice was good to about 30 - 50 yds west of the Hunter's Point.  Fished on 14" of clear black or so.  Fished K-Bay Sat - Sun and don't know what the wind may have done to it.

Fished Monday morning 7:30-11:00.  Pretty busy on the ice for a weekday.  Ice was good as described...out past hunters point. You can definitely see the transition of the smooth ice that has formed all year...versus the jagged ice which has been broken up.  Walked across from 10th street, fished on the north shore...only caught 1 splake.  :-\

Is the shoreline still safe?  South winds and warm predicted the next couple days.  Will the ice hold?

Fished in the harbor this evening near the marina. The ice is turning into slush and probably won't be safe for much longer. We saw a lot of splake, but had to throw most back due to the new size limit (15 inches). One keeper was 21 inches. Watched an otter swimming around and climbing on the ice. Has anyone else been out fishing in the harbor lately?
