Still cheaper than therapy !!!!!! So far !!!!
I don't mind the small fee increase if there was something to show for it, but they keep taking more and more away.
I would gladly pay twice the fee if they would have fishermen who sell their catch of fish pay 5 times the amout for a license .
The best law yet is as of April 1st it is a $1,000 fine for wearing felt soled waders. They won't regulate the canoes or kayaks using the rivers, but they will keep regulating the h*ll out of us. I don't mind the small fee increase if there was something to show for it, but they keep taking more and more away.
What's $3? a half a pack of smokes? A king can of beer? a vt hunting and fishing tag is the best deal going for a FULL YEARS WORTH OF ENTERTAINMENT. my wife and I took our kid (only one kid keep in mind) out on New Year's EVe for dinner (a cheap one at that at Applebees) and then to see yogi bear at the movie theater and the night cost $100. ONE NIGHT.Now tell me is $22 for a fishin tag or $35 for a combo FOR A WHOLE YEAR is a rip off? i cant stand hearin people bichin' about something like this. Buy one less new fishing lure this year and you'll break even.
I was wondering the same thing. If it wasn't for the people selling their fish, several locally owned restaurants wouldn't have fresh perch dinners on the menu. I personally sell lots of fish and it helps cover my bait,gas,etc...
and ease the burden would be a slight sportsma's tax on all outdoor gear including uch things as ski and tents as well a the hunting and fishing gear- just an idea since those other types of recreation use the environment as we do...
Webster, Last time I checked the only fish you can sell are panfish... And last time I checked F&W doesn't put a whole lot of money into Panfish Restoration/Management programs... Not sure what you have against guys who sell their catch? Whats the difference if some guy who caught a bucket full eats them all or if someone buys them from an icefisherman, easing his wallet a little bit and then people who don't ice fish can enjoy them as well?
