Curtis Pond Ice

Anyone been to Curtis yet??? How's the ice thickness there? Want to bring a young boy out Friday for some perch. :o :o

It was about 5 inches the Sunday before last I havent been back yet I am thinking about going tomorrow.  Fishing was pretty slow but the perch we did get were decent.

6+ inches lots of Perch on the far end of the pond, right out in front of a nice house. ;)

Thanks for the info. Are you calling the far end of the pond the end farthest from the boat access???

No, I was just using a Haley jig with a perch eye.

Caught some decent pickerel and bass there Sunday. A few keeper perch and some nice sized bullpout. Ice was 6+

I've never caught a bullpout there, were you using minnows in shallow water???

Gooseman- We were using hali's with gulp alive and/or eyes. Water depth ranged from 30 to 15 feet
