retreat meadows

Just wondering if anybody has fished the retreat meadows yet this year. Wondering if they have been catching any good perch or crappies yet.

I fished it on wendsday, about 6 inches of ice. Caught about a dozen perch mostly on tip-ups two of them were 12 inches. also caught a nice  bluegill on a tip-up baited with a small shiner along with  2 nice Large Mouths and a 24 inch pike.

Fished the Retreat today.  Took a long time and a lot of holes to finally find anything to be proud of but did find some nice perch, blue gil, and sun fish at the end of the day and I lost a big crappie at the hole.  All of the bigger fish were in weeds in 7 feet of water or so.  Also caught 2 shiners about 9 inches long and a fall fish that would have made great pike bait.
