I put this in the other thread too...

As it stands the conditions are pretty damn good. The snow not that deep. It is cold/dry snow so it packs down pretty good... No slush to report yet. Wheelers are doing fine. Sleds even better... Everyone is making it to where they want to go. Even Trucks and SUV's driving on the ice towing shacks... Not that I would do it, didn't see anyone cross the pressure ridge in a truck... Sleds and ATV's crossed no problem. The whole tourney is a class act and Jay has things running smoothly at derby HQ. Perfect conditions.  :tipup:

There is plenty of parking!!! Either at derby HQ... along 126.... By the credit union there is a park and ride you can park at and drive down the side of 126 to the trail head or come in by derby HQ. park along the road on Rt.126... Parking is also at the Boat launch.... Lots of folks park on the ice off the boat launch...

Its the absolute south end of the lake right on 126.  Can't miss it, the only building on the ice-complete with power and big bright lights!  Also a nice parking lot!

The 17lb pike won it, I think 2nd was 14 and change and 3rd was 13 and change.  Personally landed one at about 14 inches (yes inches, not lbs!)  Beautiful day, but it was COLD this morning!  My cousins truck read -12 on the north side of the lake at 4am.
