I have heard no good ice reports coming from brushy....only some small ice on bays.  I have some guys that live right by there I talk to all the time so will let you know when I hear something.

Went To south boat ramp there aint no 9 10 inches of ice.  I did however catch a lot of gills couldn't keep up with two poles so I had to use just one put a minnow on the other just in case a eye wanted one for dinner.

For Crappies I Fish aound taylors island usually the west side Iwould fish 30 to 40 ft. Move until you find them.  The bite does seem to be picking up.  For taking the little one gill fishing I take my daughter to the east side of taylors island when you get there fish in the group of trees to your right. walleyes I have caught them by where the camp groud is 25 30 ft of water. Hope this helps you guys out. Of course the fishing will have changed by the time you get out there. You all will call me a liar.  Hey good luck to you all.  See ya on the ice.

I' Ve been out every night this week it has been slow.  We've managed a few walleyes and a few Crappies. Tuesday night I had an lost a nice musky. The bite seems to be starting right before dark. I hear that just before light in the morning. Good luck.

thanks for the info Iceman . I got there around 6:30 am .
started at the east side of taylors island. around 8:00
the gills started to bite . the first few where ok size. but got smaller .
ready started to hummer there .. thought I better check around for maybe
larger one . when to the west side of the island .around 1:00
things really started to heat up . caught some nice one .
8" to 9" ..turn out to be a great day .. but not many guys
out that end of the lake

Keep drilling those holes

That might be because ther was a lot of people up by the north ramp.

Went out on a beuatiful day to give the place a try again.  There were quite a few people out so I hope to hear how they did if they checkout this site.  Seen the fish on the Aqua view but they were slow biting.  Only took home 6 gills today.  Another guy in our group was lucky again.  Dennis alwasy has all the luck, fishook can back me up on this one.  Around 2pm the fish just shut off and nobody was getting bites.   Didn't see any muskie this time!!

The reason there are so many up north is noone wants to venture out on their own to find the fish there ma y be fish there, but I'll take my chances where there are less people. I like to find my own fish. I dont know if them guys acctually know what their doing out there, or if their just there to be away from the wife and drink beer. I haven't fished up there since first ice and i've been doing great on other parts of the lake.
