Hi guys,
Have any of you had the chance to try the mimic minnow fry from Northland?
If so, how did you like them and what went for them?
I think they would work well for perch, trout, walleye as well as other panfish.

I've used 'em on 4 trips for trout and absolutely banged'em. I used a gulp 1" minnow fry to tip the jig.

I got done testing them plain and on this particular first test, nothing. It was a tough bite and I skunked the few hours I tried. It's still early in the season, so I will have to go try them out on a few other lakes.

I fish it plain again this time. Only this time I did really well with the Mimic Minnow Fry with the modified red colored bled one. I've caught tullibees and a perch with it. Funny stupid thing is I had it on a snap swivel too. It has earned a rightful place in my tackle box now. It's gonna catch me lots of fish this season.

Went to try it out again. Had the glow rainbow next to the red bleeded black/silver minnow. Well the first fish hit the modified red bleeded one. However after that nothing. Then they started to go for the glow rainbow instead. Turns out the fish like the glow one better. It was a cloudy windy day afterall.
All of this and the fish didn't want to touch the Airplane jigs nor any of the Live Forage Minnow Fry traps. I guess they wanted soft and chewy.
