Vex/Flasher Battery Storage & Transportation Tip
« on: Dec 08, 2010, 02:28 PM »
I just finished a bunch of modifications to my portable, and wanted something for transporting a couple of vex batteries.

Found that an old army ammo box is the perfect size for holding two batteries and a charger.

You can buy these at Mills Fleet Farm or most any Army Surplus type store pretty cheap.
Just be careful to not let the battery posts touch each other or the metal box. Mine came with a carboard liner.

A cheapo soft sided cooler also works well too.  Something that's sort of been on my mind.
