Last time the state really hammered the lamprey for 3 or 4 consecutive years, it took a couple of seasons before
the LLS / BT recovered. I think this could be the year. I heard good reports about mid summer
fishing for BT / LLS and are a year older and a ? inch thicker this winter.

Last year was my first targeting salmon through the ice... Plan on trying it again this year, hoping to make a trip or two up to the NEK before my folks move to Isle La Motte
The charm of fishing is that it is the pursuit of what is elusive but attainable,
a perpetual series of occasions for hope.

used to fish of hunt road think thats the road on kellers bay with good success, last year got one in bout a dozon trys.  might try again early not sure thinking i might stay with pike this year.  Not so sure its just the lamprey that effects them think the elwifes are making them even more picky when it comes to what to eat, could be wrong not sure.
