PROBLEM WITH FISH IN FREZZER
« on: Nov 20, 2010, 12:19 PM »
The problem is that I just took out the last package of perch and there still is no ice. Now with that note do I keep more of the smaller perch this year so I can have more fish to make it through the off times,do I just keep bugging you all for handouts,or (this would not be good) do I go to the store and buy fish. Man do we need some ice.
Take a kid fishing, they make great pack mules.
Put the big ones back for another day eat the small ones.

i dont eat much trout anymore so i kinda have the opposite problem. if i keep trout and dont eat it that day it will stay in the freezer for a while, but i with you perch never seem to last. i like little perch they make a good meal when you have 4 or 5 and since you can keep so many it can make a couple of good meals.
Remember what grandpa would always say. " Where's the beer? and you call yourself a fisherman!"
