Anyone that wants to get their panfish bait early, Wholesale Bait Co. (1-800-733-2380) is now shipping mousees and white / pink spikes. Just received my perch bait for the year. Mousees $42.00 / 1000 and Spikes $21.50 / 1000. They came 3 days after placing the order. Quantities of Mousees are again limited this years.

Does anyone know of any bait shops near Silver Lake in WNY? Besides the Sunoco in Silver Springs. Nothing against them but they are not open on Sundays.

I was surprised this place was not on the map/list. Friendly/helpful staff. They have a lot of great stuff including live bait. But I rarely make it there in the winter time and disclaimer: I have never actually purchased live bait there.

Update:

The Shot Shop located at 3144 New York 55, Pawling, NY 12564, is closed. Went there Friday night and the place is gutted, and signs are gone.

Fisherman's World located at 16 Market St, Wappingers Falls, NY 12590, has been closed for years.

I was at Ken's Repair Shop and Bait and Tackle this morning (dutchess county, almost on the CT border) Nice little shop with everything you could need. No website, cash only. Nice older couple runs it. Said they've been there 35 years.

Bait shop is open at 157 lembeck lane Watkins Glen ny 14891. Hours are Monday-Friday 7:30-5:00 and Saturday 9-5 as of now. Have fatheads spikes and crawlers. If anyone has anything else they’d like let me know and I’ll see what I can get. As far as I know we are the only shop on Seneca lake open.
