i fouund a new spot with lots of shiners, they all have speckles on them. is that bad or does it not matter?

Oh wow, they're called Golden Speckled Notemigonus Crysoleucas which are endangered.  Hurry and put the big ones in my tank for safe keeping.

pulled another 2 doz this am, slowed way down with the rain/clouds. ill be out again tomorrow to pick them up, got two more spots to try.

Jake way to go! Just in time too, with the ice comming you might be in business, I think it's easier to trap though the ice.

Ed your the best! I am going to ask her that!!

Actually I am WAY ahead of schedule.  I am only 7 weeks post op and about 2 weeks ago I asked the physical therapist when I could walk... they said when I could push 150lbs on the scale with my protective boot on.  Of course I went and got the scale and pushed as hard as I could and got it to 150 (barely).  They told me I could walk a little but instead I just dropped the crutches all together. I WILL fish a full season.... even if I have to crawl to my flags.
