Hey guys, sounds like we'll have a full house tomorrow! I'm bringing down a little venison and beef to throw on the grill (I'm bringing that as well). I chunked it up, and it's marinating right now! I am surprised that we have not heard from Pajns, hopefully everything is ok and we'll see him tomorrow. I pulled a bag of fish out of the freezer as well. I'll cut it up and bread it in the morning. Hopefully, I can get a little fryer time from one of you - I'll have a basket with me. I also have a 2l bottle of coke, and pepsi. Looking forward to seeing you all tomorrow!

got the generator on the truck

50 ft 12 ga extension
1 25 12 ga ^^

a few 25 ft 14 ga

that should make it a bit quieter being further away

throwin the fire pit on the truck too
got some logs to burn to take the chill off if we need it

I'm plannin on getin there early so things are ready to go
might even throw a line in if theres any open water
nuttin better than fresh fish lol
throw it on in a cast iron skillet

I hve some shore lunch coating ill bring along too

Unfortunately I couldn't make it due to work. I would of really liked to meet some of you guys to learn some of the ins and outs. I have been ice fishing since I was kid but never got really hooked until last year. I always fish Muddy Creek bay just out from the 5 big trees(first place you can pulloff on the side of the dirt road). I was hoping I could make it to maybe find some other good panfishing spots that you guys point me in. Oh well, maybe I can make the gathering next year! Hope you guys have a good turnout at the gathering this year!

I'm sorry that I will have to miss this great event today. I have to cut up some deer from yesterday. So have fun it won't be long before we can hit the ice if the weather keeps up !!!!

Had a GREAT time today guys !!! It was good to finally put a face to a screen name. Wonderful bunch of guys. wish some of you others could have made it. All the food was out of this world. Got to taste some things that were new to me and i liked every one of them. Thanks Park Guy for setting it all up and to all the cooks, Tuna, Eddie and i think it was Gambler, 5 stars !!! Had a lot of laughs, mostly at icefishermik's expense !! Good time had by all there i'm sure. For those that couldn't make it, look foward to it next year because i know i will. Way to much food and i know nobody left there hungry. Can't wait to see some of you on the ice. Till then be well and be safe !!!

Slider, was that you at the new Mickey D's on 422? I was right behind you in the drive thru. I went with the same meal, biggie sized! As many have said, a good time was had by all! Good food, a nice fire, and stimulating conversation. Nice seeing you all. Below are a couple pics. Enjoy!

It was great to put the face behind the ID yesterday, plenty of good stories and plenty of food. Thank you to those that put this together. On another note, I do not believe slider or Eddie spaghetti's McDonald's trip..... for I was there getting coffee to wake me from that feast. Did I mention, plenty of food....Already looking at the calender to see if I can take advantage of the bunk bed or floor week of the January 3rd, thanks to icefishermik. Look forward to seeing everyone on the ice. Tightlines..

I would like to thank ParksGuy for getting the ball rolling, Slider for the use of his generator and his boy scout talents for bringing and hanging the tarps, the great chefs on the fryers and grill, everyone who brought food mmmmmmm, and last but not least Vinnie for bringing and runnig his WAYYY COOOLL auger!! Nothing like that Klotz smell.. I know I had to gain at least 10lbs.. I kept trying to eat more and more.. Ate alot of great stuff that I had never tasted before and all was fantastic.. THANKS GUYS for the great day!! John
